1. Do you think it's a good idea to buy used clothing? Or do you always buy new things?
2. Do you think that people should give money to people begging or pan-handling on the subway?
3. Banks in the United States encourage people to use credit cards. Do you think this is a good idea?
4. If you found a paper bag on the subway with about $1,000 in it, what would you do?
5. Is there something that you really want, but that you cannot afford? What is this item? Will you ever be able to buy it?
(Example: I would love to own a Mercedes. Maybe if I save some money, I can afford one in 5 years time! Maybe!)
6. If you had to reduce your expenses, what would you do? Are there things you spend money on at the moment that you could do without?
7. What is more important, love or money?
8. Tipping (gratuities) in the US is very common. Some restaurants expect 20% or more, and taxi drivers look for at least 15%. What do you think about tipping? Do you think it should be abolished? Do you tip in your country?
